I’m Daniel Ruesch, a U.S. Army veteran with the 82nd Airborne and a current Master of Social Work student at Utah State University. I earned my bachelor’s in Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from Weber State. Then completed my Master’s of Social Work from Utah State University and spent over three years as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting individuals with developmental challenges. My military experience taught me the value of connection, resilience, and the strength we all carry.
For the past five years, I’ve worked in Child Protective Services with DCFS, now serving as a supervisor. I support families facing crisis—domestic violence, substance use, and relationship struggles—with a focus on child safety and healing. Grounded in empathy and shaped by my spiritual values, I aim to create a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and capable of lasting change.
