As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for clients across the lifespan who are experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns. When appropriate and within the treatment plan, I may also incorporate principles and skills from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

My approach is patient-centered, compassionate, collaborative, and transparent. I view each client as a valued member of the treatment team and encourage active participation in every decision about available treatment options. I support holistic care that considers the whole person and may combine medication with appropriate adjunctive strategies to promote overall well-being. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care and creating an environment in which clients feel respected, informed, and supported.

I began my nursing education at Fortis College, where I prepared to become a registered nurse. I later earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. I am licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse and hold board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. These qualifications enable me to prescribe psychiatric medications as part of individualized care.

I am passionate about helping people access the mental health care they need and partnering with them as they work toward meaningful, sustainable improvement. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and spending time with my golden retriever.
