Hi, my name is Suzy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in Utah and spent the past twenty years in Northern Virginia. I’m grateful to be back in the community where I was raised.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help clients build present-moment awareness and navigate life’s challenges.

People often have more strength and resilience than they realize. My role is to help them reconnect with those inner resources. I enjoy working with individuals navigating life transitions, whether it’s a move, career change, relationship transition, or changes related to women’s health and other life stages.

I also enjoy supporting adolescents and young adults as they grow, build resilience, and find their footing.

Who you are and where you come from matter. I approach each client with genuine curiosity and respect, creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and welcomed.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Utah and my Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

OCD Treatment

At our practice, we offer specialized OCD treatment with flexible options tailored to meet your needs. While insurance may not cover the typical six-hour per week commitment, we have developed a practice structure designed around a more manageable three-hour weekly commitment that can be billed through insurance.
